H-B Instrument Company announces completion of A2LA Accreditation for their calibration laboratory in accordance with the recognized International Standard
ISO/IEC 17025:2005 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. H-B’s laboratory also meets the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 and additional program requirements in the field of calibration. This accreditation demonstrates technical competence for their defined scope and the operation of a laboratory quality management system. The scope of H-B’s A2LA Accreditation includes liquid in glass thermometers, electronic thermometers, bi-metal dial thermometers, Proof Hydrometers, Specific Gravity Hydrometers, Baume Heavy and Light Hydrometers, and American Petroleum Institute Scale Hydrometers.
